My ABS light has been on for 3 years I did pull the bulb. The Abs pum stays running killed my battery 3 years ago so i pulled the big fuse under the hood ABS is for people that do not know how to drive.. My gear indicater was not broken so was not to bad it was a pain getting it back in place but was not hard guess working in the dark rain and with a bad back did not help. I did find your post on the other forum im imavanner2 there wish i had saw your post about the pin out may have saved me some time but it was not bad pinning it out with test light and meter. I had to do the same when i put the remote start alarm in 7 years ago.
