First Oil Change

I just changed the oil for the first time (4900miles, 160hr.) I had a couple of thoughts I thought I would share. First, the person that designed the engine never had to change oil on it or he wouldn't have put a cartridge type filter in the middle and on top of the engine. Second, they wouldn't have put the fill tube against the fire wall knowing noone is going to buy 15 quart bottles of oil, instead they are going to buy gallon jugs (or in my case 2.5 gallon jugs in hindsight that was a mistake!). So after saying all that it still beat paying the dealer $100 to do it. It had 15qts. so no fuel in oil unless it used oil?
