tire removal remount - wheels all scratched up
my front tires wore on the outside shoulders over the first 40000 miles so when I was in for 50000 mi service last week, I had the dealer rotate the tires a demount the two fronts and turn the outside shoulders to the inside.
At the carwash this monring I noticed significant scratching and gouging in the aluminum wheels resulting from the tire work. In addition there is no balance weights (Centramtics work by the way.)
Tomorrow I'm going back to tell them they are buying two new wheels.
Anyone had such an experience. I was told they did not have a tire machine for 19.5 " wheels and had to do this manually.
