I am going to disagree and do so based on experience. Mine blew towing a similar weight 5er with a custom 20hp tow tune. On top of that, almost all custom tuners will tell you not to tow anything near that weight with a tune. I wish I would have listened to them.
Bottom line is, the truck can tow that weight stock (although if it is typical of 5ers in that weight range, you are likely over the GAWR for your SRW). Granted, it won't be a hot rod, but then again, you shouldn't be racing with a 13K 5er behind you anyway. So unless you just want a reason to spend $3K-$4K on headgaskets/studs, I would strongly advise against towing it with a tune of any kind.
BTW, the typical boost/pyro/trans gauges do not have the capability to tell you when your headgaskets are about to blow. In fact, the only gauge capable of telling you that is a cylinder pressure gauge. So unless you have one of those (and I have not seen them on the market for your average joe), you can watch gauges all day and never know it is coming.....
