Both stated that they paid for a contract which costs around 2450.00-2500.00 for 100K worth of oil changes and a warranty built into maintenance program. I have never heard of such a cool thing.

Then the topic went to how often the oil is changed out. Their response which caught me well off guard........according to Ford where they take their trucks, 10K miles per change! That would be my changes on my 7.3L running Schaeffer 9000 full synthetic. They both said they were running F synthetic.

I asked what about re-gens, fuel dumps, and the DPF? The response " well I know it happens to clean a filter but our trucks don't miss a beat ( both trucks have over 20K on them). MPG is about 14-15 all around average. They don't loose power and yes both guys recognize the warning light on the dash. No biggy, they love them.

Somebody, anybody.. bite on this.

I am calling Bobby Williams and asking about the oil changes /warranty inclusion program and if I can have that transferred to my city. I am looking at the 75K extended warranty for its price and practicality. I will visit something different down the road.

Don't get me wrong.. there should not be issues. I am trying to compile any and everything for the future, use this as a mental slideshow and carry on. I am noticing there are no concrete sequencial problems or issues that come with these trucks..aka baggage.

This news makes me even more happy!
Same with ours exactly. No loss of power, never misses a beat, you hardly know it happens unless you happen to look down and catch the message. And our 350 gets about the same mileage theirs do, and about 12-13 towing.
