i would chip it, blow the head gasgets, take off the chip and have ford replace under factory warranty.
its seems like its not if they are going to go its when are they going to go. better under warranty then out of pocket.
river city diesel has a great deal on the arp stud kit and black onyx head gaskets for like 699.00 so instead of paying close to 3grand you can get it done for under a grand... just had mine done about 5 months ago, didnt even take out the programmer and they had no problem fixing under warranty. check with your guy at the dealer, some have no trouble doing it because ford knows its a major issue with thier 6.0's.
