Okay Boys This Girl Needs Help!
Here is my issue, my 2006 F250 started leaking oil so I took it to the dealer...no problem oil cooler and it was fixed....about four months later the oil leak appeared again....little drip hanging off of the bell housing, I did my research on the topic and found that it could be the bedplate, so I went to the dealer with pictures and my feeling of what the problem was ( of course women don't know anything) and it came back as the turbo boots, so now I have these blue bandaids with clamps on my hose from the front of the engine that runs into the turbo. So they say it is all fixed, yeah for about a week, guess what my little friend oil leak is back and he brought his friend turbo lag, back to the shop she goes. This time they tell me it could be coming from the head, later on I get a call and the blame it on the person who changed my oil (that is me) and said it was because i used an aftermaket oil filter as for the turbo lag they didn't have an answer. So after paying $200 for my fault and a computer reflash, plus they must have been joy riding since they wasted 1/4 tank of fuel it came home again. I replaced the oil filter with a motorcraft one and then replaced the o-ring for the filter housing and guess what the little oil drip is back.......I don't know what the hell is going on but I am about to go out of my mind. Has anyone exerienced this or have any idea what it could be? Or is Ford trying to get out of expensive warranty work? They say they road test it and it is leak free but if I take it for a 15 min or more drive it leaks for me. Sorry this is so long but I wanted to give you a little background.
