what your describing does sound like a cac tube blew off. is there a tune on the truck? 30 psi is high for a stock truck. the 03 should be in the 24 range. did you check the tube under the air filter? that one usually is the second most common to come off and its the hardest to see. i'm assuming you would have noticed the one on the turbo if it was off. another thing to check is your up pipe connection. i've seen a couple times where those have broken from heat enough to cause low boost in the turbo due to not enough exhaust going through the turbo. it doesn't sound like your vanes are sticking. normally that will cause an overboost and lack of power condition. you would have noticed this without the trailer. hope tyhis helps.

No tune on the truck. Without the trailer hitched, the truck 25- 27 psi. As soon as I have a heavy load the truck boost goes between 27 - 30 psi. I took off all the charge pipes, silicon hoses and check for cracks or any other signs of a leak... nothing. Put everything back on and truck still not boosting. I do not hear a exhaust leak but I am in the process of removing the turbo and i will check the up pipe for any cracks.
