7.3 PSD can pass all the gas pumps, but prefers good quality Diesel fuel. The driver is the most important for good fuel mileage. Driving, and weather conditions are a close second. An improved air intake like a Ford AIS, a less restrictive exhaust system, tire pressures, and a good econo tune can help, once the cost of the mods are recouped. Lift kits, and big rubbers definately hurt economy.
