I did change the oil just before the trip. I was driving along and had been for almost 200 miles when it started acting like it was running low on fuel (should not have been) so I switched tanks. It died. I started it again and went a little ways and it died again. It did that 2 more times and then would crank but not turn over.
So, it is at the dealer. I will talk with them in the am but I would like some advice so I don't get taken to the cleaners. Fuel, IDM, PCM or.....

Oh, 1997 F350 club cab, standard stuff with 178,000 miles. Only thing we've had to do is tranny rebuild, brakes, tie rod and power steering pump. Thanks!

Biased ICP sensor (try unplugging it truck will default) and see if it runs (drivers side head front)

Then check the wiring harness going to the hpop they are COMMON to go bad.....

after that I would say injector oring issue.....
