Yeah, Brian's first love was hot-rodding Ford diesel engines. But he couldn't find an automagic tranny that would stand up behind his engines, so he built his own tranny. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Brian's son Cale wanted to work with Dad, so he learned his diesel hot rodding from Brian, and now Cale handles that end of the shop. So yeah, if you want a 400-horse hot rod 7.3L diesel with a bulletproof 4R100, BTS can do the whole shebang. And then BTS could stand for Brian Thompson & Son.
But if you want 500 reliable and durable horses, I'd still go to David Ladd for the engine in front of my BTS tranny.
