Everything printed here is great information. I am ingesting all of it. I cannot say with accuracy as I will not have my truck until Monday ( excited) but I will be monitoring everything. I ran into a guy with an 08 F-450 KR at the store yesterday. He was so happy pulling his fairly heavy Teton fiver around.
No complaints.. does that surprise me? No. Not all of these trucks had/have problems and it is becoming more apparent the newer the truck the less problems being cited...in most cases. Or for more clarification.. different problems are being found. I would guess that with the technology, advances are being made and flashes are being added/upgraded. The latest edition, the 2010 should not (by rights) have the same problems the 1st job 08s had. On goes that sequence.
Re-gen issues are always going to be there. That is life. The less annoying and less frequency per re-gen is equivalant to less fuel comsumption which should make us all happy. Hopefully, it will not be at the expense of another problem developing in its place.
Yesterdays admission of a great truck, great ride puts to bed yet another
of the concerns for the 6.4L engine. Again, with the tech.. re-gen issues and DPF concerns should eventually fade further and be a forgone conclusion that its just part of the process. At that point we can turn the page.
Again, I cannot say with consistency and or accuracy yet as I will not get mine until Monday and then I will post what I am learning about the 2010 F-450 KR that I own. Pics not yet seen will also follow. Bobby W. has some splainin to do
