yeah, never have changed that filter. Now that you mention it when I pulled my cab to install head studs on my block I remember looking at that now. I wonder if that is the cause of my problem? What I am worried about now is that filter being degraded and coming apart. Is this filter used for the high pressure pump on the inside of the tranny? How often do you have to replace the filter inside the tranny?
