The way you describe your needs, you definitely don't need it. However, I have a 1969 428 cobra jet mustang Mach 1 that I don't need and drive between 1,000 and 2,000 miles per year. I don't plan on selling it and my truck gets better mileage. You my friend are at a point in life where it is strictly a personal decision between you and your wife. Good luck.
