Probably Up pipe leaks. Get a flashlight and look where the up pipes go into the Y connector that is attached to the back of the turbo. Also look where the up pipes meet the rear of the exhaust manifolds. Look for soot at those connections and on the firewall.

The donut gaskets leak. If you replace them they are likely to leak again. I am in the middle of installing DI's one piece bellowed up pipes. They are pricey but they will never leak. The turbo has to come off and the Down pipe has to come out to get them in.
