Most common cause on these trucks is warped front rotors. It's also possible that your trac bar has come loose but that usually manifests itself as a vibration when you take off, not when you hit the brakes. I had warped front rotors this past summer and they got real bad when descending mountain passes and hitting the brakes. It got pretty scary at times so I decided to upgrade. After researching here and a few other places, I ended up with PowerSlot Cryo rotors ( all 4 corners) and HAWK LTS pads and I did the install DIY style... Every chance I get (and I've had many opportunities with this truck) to replace or upgrade the stock running gear, I jump on it. So far, very, very happy with the Powerslot/HAWK combo... Much better performance than stock, dust is pretty much non-existant, no brake fade, strong on downhill panic stops, no squeaks... Well worth the $$$...
