Graupp, I have to agree. This nonsense about charging the amount of time a book says it should take instead of the actual. I know for a fact the book time is 2 to 3 times what it should really take. I know you will hear that it protects the consumer by preventing a mechanic from taking longer than it should but how often has it actually taken longer than the book says? I know with myself the answer is never.
