I agree you need to know what paint is on it before touching it with a soulvent. You are also correct about the wax helping out. If you are still uncertain after researching,a safe approch would be try the wax and or cleaner you have been useing. If that doesn't remove the spray,Go with a rubbing compound (hand or machine depending on your skill) which will remove it in layers. Just before all the spray is gone,switch to a polishing compound and finish up with your wax. A good detail guy can take care of it also. To the vandals, May your mother
