We get about 12mpg around town - that's flat land at 40-45 mph speed limits with several stop lights and signs. We just got back from a several hundred mile round trip through the desert and mountains and averaged 16.5 mpg.
That's the best I've seen from this Excursion. Was hoping for better when I bought it, but love it none the less!!
