I found my problem. It is so stupid I hate to admit it. When I ran the hose from the top of my catch can to the rear of the truck I turned the top pvc cap to the rear but didn't think to drill a hole in the pvc like the hole in the cap with the fitting in it.
So there was no crank case vent. fortunately the cap was lose enough to allow some pressure to escape but was also putting pressure on the injector o-rings I assume. I took the cap off drilled a hole and it quit smoking.
I just hope I didn't hurt anything else with this bunch of stupidity!
