I had to take my X into the dealer a month ago because the cruise control switch was causing smoke under the hood intermittently.
They replaced it, but it wasn't under recall at the time. I stopped back by with my receipt on Monday and told them it was now a recall. They are going to send me a check for what I paid to have the original work done.
They treated me very well.
