Not sure yet. I've only driven it the distance between Fontana and my house (about 70 miles). I keep a fuel log and have always gotten anywhere between 13 and 15 MPG. Seeing the increase is a surprise, but I'm not expecting it to stay there.

@TDW - The letter I received explicitly stated that failure to have my vehicle serviced per any recall notice ... in a timely manner ... may result in Ford's refusal to cover under warranty any damages that might result. Ford is pretty crafty. I would not trust Ford's website or courtesy snail mail notices to deal with your truck because sometimes those systems fail. Your real safety is calling the dealer.
