We have state and local law enforcement for law enforcement issues, the FBI for federal crimes and our federal military for external foes. What is the purpose of a Obama's national security force?
I often hear and read complaints that our defense budget is too big. But (some of) those same voices are now advocating doubling that budget and making the citizens of the US the target of this "national security force".
No. The US does not need it's own Gestapo under the direction of this, or any other President.
