Do you have access to a scanner? If so, look at the IPR duty cycle % and ICP while cranking. Look to see if the delay is the same time period it takes to get to 500 psi. If the delay is related, you have a list of possible issues. You could have a bad pump, ipr, icp, any leak anywhere in the high pressure side from the lines to injector o-rings.
The 1st thing I would do because it's the most common is to replace the IPR o-rings.

Yes, I did just replace the IPR o-rings from a kit that I got... So I'm pretty sure that it's not that... Do you know what the pressure needs to be at before the truck will start? It worked fine before I took my motor out. I guess it's possible that I did'nt get one of the lines tight enough. Could I still have some air in the system that has not purged out yet?
