Ok, I'm gonna be the first to admit that I did not no anything about this transmission swap before I started it, so it's very possible that I put something in wrong. No I did not use a thin coating of grease on the shaft, do I need to and if so how much and what kind? I'm pretty sure that I put it in correctly. The bearing is on one side and there is a black plastic housing on the other side. I put the black plastic toward the back of the transmission. This is what my clutch fork is hooked to. But the fork just sits on it, there really was not slot or anything that I could see that the fork should slide into. Does anyone have pictures as to the proper way to install these throwout bearings?
