fuel tank switch valve / fuel tank
I am in need of a new front fuel tank for my '97 Stroke. ford wants almost $500 bucks, no junk yard in my area has one, and welding a piece of steel to cover the hole doesn't sound real safe. Any ideas? I've checked Ebay and found nothing. I also need a fuel tank switching valve. Fuel is running from my rear tank into the front tank and then leaking out the hole. WOW!! Ford wants $185.20 for a new one and yes, it's a dealer only piece. I've checked with NAPA, Checkers, and even Ford said it's a dealer only piece. Any ideas or suggestions? Guess I could just bite the bullet and buy everything new, but that's a bunch of money I really don't have. Thanks.
