HELP!!! Anybody!!!
So...yesterday I decide to tackle putting on my ATS ported compressor housing and to say the least, it still today is going badly. I couldn't even see the waste gate 'c' clip so I decide it would be best for me to just remove the whole turbo assy. All went well until it came time to remove the rear 'v' clamp. It was a screaming bee-ach to get to release but I got it finally. Today the swap of the housings was a snap and getting the turbo assy back on the stand went cleanly. But now the rear 'v' clamp is being nasty again. There is about 1/8" of gap between the 'y' pipe manifold and the turbo exhaust housing that I can't get to close up enough to get the clamp 't' bolt to hook. There isn't anything except the aluminum pedisatal or the firewall to pry against. I even removed the turbo again and tried to get the clamp started but no joy that way either. HELP!!!
