steve back in 2003 my dad bought a 2003 f550 6.0 dump truck with in the first week it gave major problems went back to ford 3to4 times in 2 month period he (MYDAD)tried to claim lemon law but before he could the truck burnt 2 the ground the insurance company took ford to court cause they didnt want to pay ford they felt it was fords problem i dont know what happened he (my dad) was not dragged to court so we dont know who payed who but it was hell for my dad to get 7or8grand back that he put down on the truck the truck was really f up 1000miles we shut it off pulled the key out it was still running on oil being injected from a burnt turbo so much for buying new it also f up a lot of jobs that he broke down heading to in the morning i could go on n on but i have a 03 excursion 6.0 with no problems 75thousand on the clock its just the luck of the draw
