spool up time
The only way to reduce the lag off the line is to speed up how fast the turbo spools up.
Many aftermarket additions will help decrease spool up time: larger intake, large inter-cooler and boost tubes, aftermarket intercooler, cold air kit, and aftermarket exhaust. I'm sure that I'm missing others.....
