You may have to loosen the up pipes to get some extra wiggle room. You will have to make sure everything is good before tightening back down. Usually the up pipes dont do real good after years of heat cycles so you may have to replace them if you notice the pipes are irregular shaped at the donuts. Good time to upgrade to bellowed up pipes!
