Checking in from Texas
Hows everyone doing! Just picked up an 04 f-250 4 door with the 6.0 for a daily driver/hauler. I got into rock crawling a few years ago and now have an 82 toyota pickup on 38.5" tires with a full roll cage, so it has to be trailered everywhere. That got old at 8mpg, so I found a super clean fx4 lariat and here I am. I have been reading as much as possible and see that the head gasket issue is a major ordeal so I want to safe guard against it as much as possible. My first purchase will be a 4" MRBP exhaust (turbo back). Am I at least headed in the right direction? Next will be some type of aftermarket intake or at least better air filter. Ideas? I am still searching as well
