The original flash had problems. I was initially told to wait until I had received a letter from Ford. I got that letter from Ford, and it says exactly what I had said earlier re warranty. You can take the word of a service writer who will deny he ever spoke with you regarding this matter, or take the word of a written letter which you never got to begin with.
What I'm trying to say is: you never got the letter. It doesn't affect you. As soon as you say so-and-so told you so, then you've got no leg to stand on.
