From the factory.

It is just a feature of turbo lag that one notices because it has a manual tranny.

As I mentioned, the Ex w/ the auto goes to 2000 Rs when one puts his foot into it. But with a manual tranny I am more aware of the need to do so.

It is the difference between diesel w/ a turbo and a gas engine. My 96 Mustang Cobra does not need to Rs like the diesel w/ the turbo does. 2000 Rs in the mustang and you are in the next county in a breath.

Even my non turbo'd 83 6.9 diesel didn't need the 2000 Rs to go. Admittedly is was slow. But the thing would idle up a steep hill in 1st loaded to the top of the bed w/ broken concrete, tools and stuff on the concrete, lumber on the rack, and towing a compressor, without taking a second breath. I know because that is an actual example of what I did one time. And then there was granny below 1st in case you got a real load to deal with. All w/ only 175 horses.

W/ the turbo I just do not have the same power of the 83. And the turbo has 325 horses.

I suppose I am just expressing my disappointment that when I went from 175 HP to 325 HP I expected different performance than what I got.
