Banks is getting away from the black smoke tuning per recent advertising and in my opinion their tuning sucks. The edge and banks offer pretty much the same things with what they have out. The are basically module tuners that fool the computer to produce power. To me I don't like that type of tuning and prefer to go with a flash style tuning that is capible of tuning the pcm and tcm. With the trans in the 6.0 trucks tuning is key to its survival. To properly tune the truck you will have to give up on the fly tuning. Going with a sct though will give you the best running truck tune wise and the most power. I have a sct xcal2 (older version) and with tunes I have not gained much in mpgs but the power and drivability is beyond worth it.
