dropped the truck off this monring and went on to get my silverado rental.
after about three hours the service writer calls and tells me they are putting steel wheels in my tires so I can drive it. They are sending the wheels off to someplace where they strip the coating, fill (I assume heliarc) the gouges, and reapply the coating. Takes 10 days.
Tomorrow I'm having a come meet JC meeting with the sewrvice manager.
