Cooling fan upgrade??

Does anyone know if there is a way to get away from the heavy clutch fan. I know electric is an option but don't know where to start. I want to keep it simple. Right now I am running without the cooling fan as it is not warm in my neck of the woods. Just replaced the water pump again !! Seems that I'm only getting 125,000 km out of each pump. 380,000 km on the truck and I would like to keep going. Any advice on the fan??

Thanks
