I don't know about the electrics, sounds great if they work. I don't trust aftermarket mods much. I'm still fighting my fan clutch after 4 new replacements I'm still not satisfied with how the clutch performs.
About the water pump, this may be just opinion, but it makes good sense. Most antifreeze is high in silicates to protect aluminum. From what I've read the silicate ruins water pumps in vehicals designed for low silicate antifreeze. Our trucks specify use only low silicate. I think only the old green standard antifreeze is low silicate and not all of it, you have to read and see if it meets the ford spec spelled out in the manual. I've been literally afraid to change antifreeze for this reason so after 13 yrs I thought it time and went to ford and got the correct antifreeze. If they don't have the motorcraft, they will hopefully have a suitable use antifreeze and it won't be Peak, Prestone or Zerex most likely. Sure all antifreeze whether it green, red, purple or hot pink says "Safe for all engines". Yea safe if you don't mind replacing water pump every couple years.
