Common rail for 7.3???

This may be the dummest question ever but i want to know because I've never heard of one but has anyone ever thought to retrofit a common rail fuel system onto a 7.3?
I keep hearing about how much better the common rail is and that the 7.3/6.0 HEUI system is it's drawback. I'm sure a whole new computer would have to be engineered but it's not that hard for some of these companies that specialize in that stuff.
What do you guys think?
