Tranny flush with BG products

Jus't had my tranny serviced here at the dealership where I work today. Our diesel tech recommended to flush the system with the BG cleaner then refill with new fluid and the BG conditioner. I had never used any BG products before and did not know if they were worth it or not. Our tech really likes them. Anyway, when I got off work and headed home it usually takes my truck about 10 to 15 miles to warm up to normal operating temp. Here lately with the outside temp running in the 40's and 50's at night my temp gauge usually runs at 130 to 135 degrees. Suprisingly all the way home the temp never got above 120. I was really pleased with the drop in temp. Dont know if it was the new tranny fluid or if maybe the BG products helped. Have any of you had any experience with their products??
