I have a friend who has a theory that THIS is the right time to buy a big truck if you think you'll ever need one.

It goes like this......"In the future, every consecutive year model lineup is going to be more and more encumbered by ridiculous Smog equipment (like an EGR on a diesel engine ) and if you want to get a vehicle that isn't a peashooter death trap, NOW is the time to buy, not sell."

He thinks these big diesel light duty trucks are going to be.......(wait for it)......Collector's items!

And if you think about it, without worrying about the fuel costs (which btw are also bogus, just because congress won't allow drilling and refining, except to the Chinese and Russians) the future MIGHT be bright for big diesel trucks like ours, because the fuel prices will drop like a rock, if they ever start using our own considerable national resources again.

And you certainly won't find a lighter emissions package in any year from now on....
