They replaced it, but it wasn't under recall at the time. I stopped back by with my receipt on Monday and told them it was now a recall. They are going to send me a check for what I paid to have the original work done.
I got my recall letter on Thursday and the refund check from the dealer, for what they charged me pre-recall, on Friday. Refunded in full!

I have worked with some great dealerships for service. They diagnose the problems quickly and are reasonably priced. Not as cheap as some shops, but with their overhead and the additional factory training, that doesn't bother me. But, I have also worked with dealers that take forever to get the diagnosis correct, and seem to spend more time trying to figure out how much add-on work they can try to foist on me.

I love working with a good dealership. I have a great Dodge dealership that I work with for the Charger I drive for work. I wish I had a Ford dealership that was more interested in solving my problems instead of seeing how much money they can extract from my wallet.
