Dealersays regens does it along with idling.
My question is this - to Ford. You have this engine so bottled up on backpressure that it runs hot all the time - especially in hot weather. You want us to shut it off after it cools down to 300F. Mine never goes down that far in the summer with AC on - might get to 325F after 7-10 minutes. You also recommend 10000 miles oil change intervals.
What testing done by Ford yielded the 10000 miles recommended because obviously us owners don't know what we're doing?
