Is home insurance supposed to cover all maintenance and repairs and remodels the way that people (ab)use health insurance? Does auto insurance pay for tune-ups and new tires? I have some stuff without insurace and most cars only get the minimum required by the state, but the point is that I have the freedom of choice. While some states mandate auto insurance, you do not have to buy a car, but if the federal government were to mandate health insurance, you don't have the option of avoiding it by not existing. Besides being marxist, it is unconstitutional and immoral. It's a power grab by the government, and those that do not want to take personal responsibility for their own wellbeing are all too ready to accept the lies of the media and the democrats. There is a class envy mentality, and these people think for some reason that it is not their own responsibility to care for themselves, but they want someone else to take care of them. I would be embarrassed.
