If you brake torque it, does it try to spool or no? Can you hear the turbo doing anything?

Reason I ask, is i've seen cases where you can look at the side tanks of the intercooler and they look fine. Under boost though, a seam will open up, but with no boost, everything looks normal... Matter of fact you couldn't even make the seam open up by tools. You don't realize how much force a few pounds of boost is..
