I know there are those who are diehards for one brand or another. Both pads and rotors. Then, just as with cars, I believe that if you have larger rims there are plus sized rotors out there. And calipers w/ more cylinders. And I know there are regular, slotted, drilled, dimpled, slotted-drilled, slotted-drilled-chamfered, rotors. Even regular or black zinc coatings for looks. See my sig re; my Ex. My rotors are manufactured by Royal Rotors.
And there are several opinions regarding the advantages, or lack thereof, of using the various combinations available. And those opinions vary based on what you do with the truck.
