While some states mandate auto insurance, you do not have to buy a car, but if the federal government were to mandate health insurance, you don't have the option of avoiding it by not existing. Besides being marxist, it is unconstitutional and immoral. It's a power grab by the government, and those that do not want to take personal responsibility for their own wellbeing are all too ready to accept the lies of the media and the democrats. There is a class envy mentality, and these people think for some reason that it is not their own responsibility to care for themselves, but they want someone else to take care of them. I would be embarrassed.

You didn't fully answer my question.
What about your house?
Not to mention that your analogy is way off.
Keeping people healthy, and the astronomical dollars that it costs if they get seriously ill, in no way equates to changing your tires or even replacing your whole damn car for that matter.
That's just silly.
