More tubes is good. I would be surprised if it doesn't cool a little better. Towing heavy, I wouldn't install one without having a real coolant temp gauge. I would want to see if it had an effect on the coolant temp.
Are you drawing intake air from the engine compartment? If yes, you can lower temps by changing that.
After that there is different tuning.
And regardless of your combination, you need RPM's to stay cool.
