high pressure oil problems can and do come and go based on temperature alone. kinda like what he he is seeing. Scan the parameters with a good scan tool. I just went thru all this, thinking it was injectors, the icp etc. Then, my truck wouldnt start at all. It was the HPOP, but any high pressure oil leak will and does exhibit all the symptoms he is seeing, but there is not way of telling without seeing what the actual pressures are at cold and hot conditions.
But, it very well could be a chaffing issue, or any other number of issues including weak batteries, sensors, or any number of other things. Im still leaning towards a high pressure oil issue. I may be wrong.
