The way I got it figured.........the less time they have my truck, the less they can screw up on it. With 3 hours, I'm sure they could screw up a lot of stuff, and find a lot of "stuff that needs immediate attention".
When I told him "that's why you make appointments", he tells me that the appointment is just for the service advisor (him), and then he needs to get the truck into the mechanic when he can.
I felt like Seinfeld at the rental car counter.........."I don't think you do understand how the appointment works. The appointment is supposed to keep the car here. That's the most important part of the appointment....actually holding onto the car for me."
