Another big thing to consider is that the 10 produces it's torque and HP at a much lower RPM which is better for towing situations.
Boss V8
Max HP - 411 @ 5500 rpm
Max Torque - 434 @ 4500 rpm
V10
Max HP - 362 @ 4750 rpm
Max Torque - 457 @ 3250 rpm
